TRAINING

One of the things Caretakers and Site Managers tell us is that they’d like to do more training.

Whether this is a brush up on Handy Persons Skills or a full nationally recognised qualification (like an NVQ) being a member of Taking Care of your Caretaker can give access to the right training at the right time.

Working in partnership with an International Training Provider we can offer NVQs in Cleaning and Caretaking Skills (Level 2) or Facilities Management (Level 3). Currently these are government funded and we are keeping a close eye on developments in this area.

In addition throughout the year we will be offering local training in subjects such as Performance Management, Basic Handy Person Skills, and ICT skills. These will be at a much lower cost than current national courses and tailored to local need and requirements.

Our Conferences will also provide trainging opportunities for Caretakers, Bursars and Business Managers. These are free to members and will cost £75 for non members to attend.
