Unfortunately this area of training is becoming increasingly important and we are grateful to the the Avon and Somerset Constabulary’s Back Rock Training Centre for offering this training in partnership with us.

The extreme threats planning course for schools is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to plan and prepare for an incident within the school environment. It will include;

  • An update on the current national threat levels.
  • Practical advice on how to deal with an “extreme threat” incident.
  • Advice that will assist in planning and preparation.”

It’s important that 2 members of staff attend. Business Manager, Head teacher or Site Manager are key roles.

Cost: £120 for two people for Members of the Network
(£160 for non-members)
Price includes a buffet dinner and refershments during the evening.

The Course is aimed to give delegates the tools to create a robust policy and proceedure to deal with an intruder wanting to cause harm on a school site as well as dealing with the aftermath of such an event.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for providing this training platform.  I have attended a lot of training in my time but my gosh this was by far the most informative, exciting (also a little scary) and enlightening event I have ever attended.  I was gripped from start to finish and have learnt a great deal.
You really delivered on this training, absolutely fantastic!”

I went on this training last year and it really changed the way we approach school trip site visits as well as improving security systems in school.
